On Tuesday February 23rd in the auditorium, the Environmental Club will be putting on an assembly about going green and sustaining the earth. The assembly will consist of a polar bear talk, a teacher panel that will discuss a gas tax, and trivia games for incredibly fabulous prizes! It is open to all students during 2nd and 3rd hour as long as they confirm with their teachers first!
Focus the Nation is dedicated to empowering a generation to accelerate the transition to clean energy. It is an annual event that goes on all over the country. Como Park has decided to take part in it the past three years, and is looking forward to making it a tradition! Come on down to the auditorium during 2nd and 3rd hour on February 23rd and learn about ways you can help preserve the environment that you live in and even earn some great prizes while you do it!
