Many Como Park students know Mrs. Sonja Dunlap from Murray Jr. High. Some may even have had her as a teacher. Tragically, last October Mrs. Dunlop and her family lost their 10 year old son to cancer.
Murray Jr. High has put together a benefit on December 17th to raise money to help with the costs of medical bills. It will take place At Murray Jr. High School. There will be a delicious chili dinner and a silent auction from 5:00 to 6:30. Following will be a band concert at 7:00.
They are asking local businesses in the area help by donating to the silent auction.
If you wish to donate to the cause, email Jenny Wamsley at Jenny.Wamsley@spps.org or call her at 651-293-8740. You can also contact Mrs. Bade here at Como in room 1215. So, please come down and express your sympathy to Mrs. Dunlap and her family. Your help to the benefit will be very much appreciated.
