Connor Sadowski-Official that thing guy

Deep within the Como Highlands lives a creature of lore. A creature beyond our realm of understanding. A creature whose body has become perfectly adapted to random bursts of strength and stamina followed shortly there after by copious amounts of relentless laziness and sleeping. The creature is called Connor. His diet consists mainly of meat and meat byproducts, and pop, oh so much pop. Someone known to socialize with the creature says, “Eh’s a pretty cool guy, he shoots his laser and doesn’t afraid of anything.” Recently the creature has been seen among the halls of Como Park Senior High School gallivanting and proceeding to do nothing of any real sustenance, besides writing for the crier that is.

Shannon Hark – Contributing Editor, Writer & Photographer

ohyeahImTHATcoolMost people on here write funny things, post funny pictures, try to be unique in their bio’s. But to be unique you don’t need to do that stuff. You just should be you.
I’m Shannon. I’m a senior this year and although I don’t know what college I’m going to  attend when I leave this place, I know that where ever I go I’m going to be an accomplished writer and am going to do great things.

I may not always know what I’m doing but I’ll try to make things better. And when I make a mistake, because face it, we all do, I promise I’ll ask for your help. I can’t do this alone, but if you’ll take a chance on me, we can do great things together.

May Yang – Contributing Writer

More recently, the term kit has been used to refer to one of her baby rabbits. Marina’s group of young rabbits is referred to as her kindle. When she and the group of these little rabbits are together causing a raucous in parts of Northern Canada, they are often referred to as a fluffle.

Alec Braun – Editor

Alec Braun is quite the exquisite fellow. He is a senior here and can’t wait for this awesome year to end. He loves long walks on beaches and the idea of dancing in the rain. But he never goes through with these ideas for he lives in his basement and fears light. Even if he’s living down there during the day at night he becomes bison man, where he roams the dark and frees moths from evil bat creatures that eat them…His Xbox live account is poopface73 doo.

Rev. Parker Hoffman – Supreme Writer and Editor

So once upon a time this one doo named Parker E. G. Hoffman was born. It was in a not so far away land named Saint Paul in the year of 1992. During the course of the next ten years he lived in a van down by the river and roamed the streets at night looking through people’s windows to watch TV. Then in the midst of his travels he found this one place called “high school” he could go for free lunch and started to like it. But unfortunately the lunches turned inedible and he left school and went back on the road again to look for greater truth and real food. His cholesterol levels are as follows: HDL Cholesterol 52 mg/dL, Triglycerides 58 mg/dL, LDL-Cholesterol 83 mg/dL, and CHOL/HDLC Ratio 2.8

Sam Carey – Contributing Editor

It is with great sadness that the Como Crier announces the death of one of our own. His presence has been a guide and an inspiration to each member of our small, tight-knit group. I am speaking of Sam Carey’s future. We bid it farewell on November 3, 2009 shortly after the sixteenth time that Mr. Stahlman (fruitlessly) reminded Sam to shut up. This reminder, as all of the others, went unheeded. As a result, well… you know the rest. When you see Sam in the hallway, offer your condolences. His is a future of carwashes and offering “fries with that?” Poor Sam, Poor, poor Sam.

Sam Carey has come a long way from the long haired freshman that first walked through Como’s doors four years ago. With three years of experience with the Como Crier under his belt, he is the most senior member of the current staff. Sam specializes in Arts/Entertainment pieces, and opinion articles; though his breakthrough on the Republicans to Kittens story accurately portrays his dedication to relevant news and current events.

Michael Olheiser – Contributing Writer

Michael Olheiser, formally known as the freshman with a beard, is now a senior here at Como Park Senior High and the beard isn’t so much the talk now. This is his first stab at journalism and taking a part in the school newspaper, but he’s definitely not limited to the creativity and fun of writing. He’s also an aspiring guitar player who loves to play and create music.

Allison Leithauser – Contributing Writer

Allison Leithauser is a junior at Como Park, home of the Cougars.
