They’ve been entertaining you since childhood with their highflying aerial feats, jaw-dropping acts of manual dexterity, and clown based comedy. Every year they travel around the country to over 120 cities with the sole purpose of entertainment with a portion of the proceeds going to Children’s hospitals all throughout North America. For over 120 years the Shrine Circus has inspired awe with every attendee who lays eyes on what happens under the big top.

This coming MEA weekend is everyone’s opportunity to relive their childhood, from the opening act with ring leader Devin Chandler to the grand finale with Chinese acrobats, dancing elephants, and hat tossing tricks. They’ll only be performing for three days, from October 16th to the 18th, so you should reserve tickets while you have the chance.

Noteworthy acts include the Chinese Lion Dance, bodily contortion by Miss Sai, acrobatic feats performed by the Sun Troupe, aerial artistry on the Spanish web by Guillermina, and a tribal dance to fierce beating drums performed by the South American Gauchos. A schedule of all the listed shows is as follows:

October 16th… 10:30 am & 7:30 pm

October 17th… 10:30 am, 3:00 pm, & 7:30 pm

October 18th… 1:30 pm & 6:00 pm

All shows take place at the Target Center in downtown Minneapolis. Hope to see you there!
