Como Park’s Underground

Since the creation of Como Park there has been a mysterious shroud of rumors surrounding what lies underneath the school. People spoke of hidden gold, trolls or Mr. Magnuson’s secret lair. Some have said there could be a bowling alley, a gun range or even another gym.
While all of those underground rooms seem quite interesting and imaginative, under Como there is only a long series of tunnels that house electrical and heating fixtures. This may be disappointing to some people but not everything can be fantastical. However, in part of the school there are some interesting connections.
In the west wing of the school all of the tunnels connect underneath the classrooms. One could go down and potentially pop up in a different classroom. These tunnels snake around quite a bit and even open up to reveal large open spaces. This underground system is accessible just about anywhere in the school but mostly from the 1st floor west wing classrooms.
Unfortunately for Como there isn’t any hidden treasure or old rooms but some other high schools do have some interesting things. For instance, Highland has an old gun range under the school, and Harding has a batting cage.
So for all of you explorers out there, don’t plan on being a school spelunker. There is nothing to find except for Mr Magnuson who spends his free time and prep hour down in the black abyss.
