On September 8th freshmen around the country started their first day of high school. As they strolled down the unfamiliar hallways of their new high school, they never saw so many potential doorways to be lead threw.
Freshmen Bajuan Adams first day went pretty smooth aside from being worried about where to sit at during lunch. Bajaun is not involved in any sports at the moment, but he will be going out for basketball in the winter.
After comparing his junior high years to his new high school life Bajaun said “I feel the homework is pretty much the same, just way more people than I’m use to.” He is not intimidated by the upperclassmen and said none of his teachers made him feel welcome on the first day.
Bajaun, who already stands at about six feet, says he hopes to be taller and an even better ball player than he already is by the time he reaches his senior year.
Socially Bajuan is open to many possibilities. If he were to get asked out by an upperclassman he would say yes, but also stated “most upperclassmen joke around about that or complain about us being too young.
For the next four years Bajaun will build his future, make new friends, and experience new things. He will succeed at task as well as fail but for the most part Bajaun is off to a pretty good start.
