Wrestling Meet January 21st

On Thursday, January 21st a wrestling meet took place at Harding High School. Como Park’s wrestlers started out slower than usual, losing the first couple of matches. But, when Drew Redden came up, he won the first match for the Cougars. Tony Finken then came up ready to face a Harding Senior who is undefeated in the St Paul Conference. Tony came in confident and ready to win, he ended up beating the senior and giving him his first loss in the St. Paul City Conference. At the end of the match Tony said, “the seniors arms were bigger than my head.” J. Frasl was the last wrestler on the roster, ready to win, he got up only to find out that no one was within his weight class. No one was tough enough to face the J-master.
The next meet is on Thursday, January 28th. The meet is against Arlington at Arlington High School.
